DIANE GROSS
ANCHORAGE ALASKA

MEET YOUR
PHOTOGRAPHER
i'm diane, an Anchorage based senior photographer
I'm chasing life and all of its experiences. I've moved 17 times, held countless professions (paralegal, bookkeeper, contractor, chef, driving instructor...), lived in a camper for 6 months and traveled the country, went skydiving in California, swimming with wild dolphins off the coast of Hawaii, had a wolf as a pet (I don't recommend).
The one constant through all of this, the photos. They tell a story of a life in its fullest, and I don't regret a single one of them (except maybe the skydiving photos where cheeks are stretched in the wind like I'm trying to eat a leaf blower, lol).
I want you to look at your senior portraits years from now and transport back to your senior year, to the time you were goofing off and caught a cheeto on fire in the science lab, or that clicky clacky sound of the econ teacher with a fake leg he would throw at the class when he was mad (did I have a weird high school experience?) Sleepovers and mindless drives with your friends, prom dresses, band concerts, the energy of the crowd at a Friday night football game. High school is magic. You are magic.

I've been married for 18 years to a man that is the epitome of a dad joke (is it weird I dig this?) We have 5 kids, a dog, and 3 cats all named October (they're all black and I like to tease people and say we only have one cat, you're seeing double).
We are a snowboarding family. I taught all my kids to board, and when I'm not working you can find us at the hill. My youngest qualified for USASA Nationals in Colorado this year!
I went to college in California for Music Theory. It was my dream to be a band teacher, until I spent a semester with 6th grade band students!
On weekends I moonlighted as the lead guitarist in a girl's punk band: The Tattooed Love Dolls.
